Keith Holmes studied painting at the Banff School of Fine Arts and is a graduate of the Alberta College of Art. He has worked in advertising art, audio-visual design, presentation graphics and theatre set design. His paintings have been widely exhibited and are in many public, corporate and private collections.

Stan Phelps began painting pictures as a young teen. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in painting from the University of` Calgary. Stan has wide experience as a painter, a graphic artist and art teacher specializing in large group projects with children. He continues to spend as much time as possible at his own easel.

"Our ability to work cooperatively is based on years of shared experience and a developed language of painting. We've painted together for over 25 years across Canada and in shared studios. Our first mural collaboration was an orca mural in 1984. Since then we've done more than 20 others in Alberta and on the west coast, most prominent are in the Calgary International Airport, Calgary City Hall, and the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede."
