The Town of Stony Plain has a Mural project as an aspect of a beautification program. The murals feature pioneer citizens considered significant contributors to the town. Jacob Schram was one of many European immigrant's who settled in the area near the turn of the last century and brought much needed skills and trades.
The location of this mural is approximately that of the old blacksmith shop. The pictured view through the shop door is a re-creation of the street and architecture of the era.
